Tax Changes 2011:

1. Standard Deduction for singles  $5,800, and married  $11,600.

    year 2012  single $ 5,950 and married  $ 11,900.

2. Personal exemptions $3,700.

3. Tax at:  Dividends 15% and Capital Gains 15% long term (Varies on 

    tax rate) and some relief for individuals in the 0%, 5%, 10%, & 15% tax rate.

4. IRS business auto mileage rates- before 7/1/2011 51.0 cents per mile

    and after 6/30/2011  55.5 cents per mile.

5.  Fica 2010 wage base is $106,800, and 2011 is $ 106,800 and 2012 is $ 110,100.

6.  First-year expensing on business equipment (sec 179) limit to

      $500,000 in 2011, adjusted cpi figures.
